Hike Willowdale State Forest, Topsfield/Ipswich MA. Take a break from watching football and enjoy a stress-free 4-5 mile hike on a section of the Bay Circuit Trail and other woodland trails. We’ll hike from Willowdale Meadow into WSF, exploring the southern portion of this extensive forest and visit Pine Swamp. WSF is over 2,400 acres with more than 40 miles of trails. Snowshoes or ice stabilizers could be needed depending on conditions. We’ll meet at 1 p.m. in parking area next to Willowdale Meadow on (~280) Ipswich Road, Topsfield.
