Hike Ward Reservation in Andover
Hike The Trustees of Reservations’ Ward Reservation in Andover/North Andover MA.
Meet at 12:30 pm at Prospect Rd parking area in Andover MA. We’ll hike along a section of the BCT and other reservation trails, enjoying marshland, woodland and grassland habitats, and resting at the Solstice Stones to enjoy the scenic views from Holt Hill, Essex County’s highest point. We’ll occasionally linger to observe the reservation’s ecology and learn about ongoing avian conservation efforts. If one of your New Year resolutions is to get more exercise, this hike will get you off to a great start. We’ll return to parking area by about 3:30 PM.
From I-93, take MA 125 north for 5 miles and right onto Prospect Road. Follow Prospect Road 0.3 mile to parking area.
